Understanding your patients oral environment
better with Saliva Check kit
As a step towards Minimum Intervention (MI) dentistry, GC
Asia Dental Pte Ltd is launching a diagnostic tool called
Saliva Check kit. The kit aids the clinician in having
a better understanding of the patient’s oral environment
and enables them to plan an appropriate treatment and prevention
program. GC’s Saliva Check kit is divided into
5 different steps with the first 3 steps involving unstimulated
saliva while the last 2 steps involve the stimulated saliva.
As the functions and characteristics of these two forms of
saliva are different, by evaluating both, the test results
will become very useful diagnostic and powerful communication
tools to the patients. Each GC Saliva Check kit consists
of 20 tests. A test mat is included with the kit to guide
the patient throughout the test. A results pad will also be
provided to record diagnostic results for patient record files.
